Carrara White takes its name from the marble quarries of the Tuscan Apennines, the same source that gave Michelangelo the stone for his David. It is a complex, pearl-quality white that shifts between soft grey and brilliant white depending on the light. It appeared first on the Boxster in 2002 before spreading to the 911 range and has since become one of the most requested whites in the entire Porsche catalog. Several cars in the Holt Motorsports collection have worn this exceptional finish.
