Historically, the 911 Turbo S models have delivered the most extreme levels of performance the 911 family had to offer. Upon its introduction for 2011, the 997.2 Turbo S exhibited that and more. The Turbo S model is fitted with all of the Turbo’s performance options as standard, including dynamic engine mounts, torque vectoring, ceramic brakes and Sport Chrono package, then supplies an additional 30 horsepower for a total output of 530. This power is routed to all four wheels exclusively through the 7-speed PDK transmission and results in incendiary performance figures like a 0-60 sprint in 3 seconds flat. Direct Fuel Injection and biturbo technology allowed for more aggressive management of the intake valves and an increase in charge pressure by 0.2, thus delivering peak power and 516 lb-ft of torque.
