In 2009, the car was campaigned by Orbit Racing in support of the American Le Mans Series. Running the famous Patrón Tequila branding, this chassis competed at Salt Lake City, Lime Rock, Mid-Ohio, Road America and Laguna Seca.
Its racing career was far from over, as we have campaigned the car and demonstrated its competitiveness in Porsche Club events, including 6 Sprint races at Summit and NJMSP. $35k has been recently spent to get this GT3 Cup running flawlessly including the following:
4-way rebuilt, dyno printed Moton shocks, rebuilt uprights, stub axles, bearings and monoballs, new Tilton triple 5.5" disc clutch kit with flywheel, suspension bushings replaced with spherical bearings, outer tie rod bolts, wheel bearings, hubs, inner and outer stubs, wheel nuts, brake disc and pads, rebuilt axles with NEO-HPCC1 grease in new CV boots, fluids after every race, 3 sets BBS wheels, 2 sets with new sealing rings, inner and out barrels and hardware. Excellent leak down and compression. KMP’s GT3 Cup pneumatic paddle shift system ensures maximum performance and gearbox longevity and shifts swiftly+ flawlessly.
Car comes with original seq. shifter and blipper, extra pads, original factory issue Motorsports Sachs Cup Car shocks, etc.
